Here is a map of the subway stations in Barcelona to help you navigate the metro system! I’ve added a hot pink dot to the locations I thought tourists may want to visit to make them easier to spot on the map. I’ve also added in the location of Park Guell – it’s not 5 feet away from a metro station like most of the attractions, but it’s well worth the little walk (which is quite beautiful).

We went to Barcelona a few years ago for a city break type holiday and found the metro there to be great. The fact that the metro trains are well air conditioned was a real plus on a hot day.
We also learned that while Barcelona’s metro was great, their city bus service wasn’t so hot. Apparently, someone has to actually wave at the bus driver from the stop as the bus is approaching or they won’t bother stopping.
