Living Statues of Madrid
I was very impressed by these performers who dress up like statues to make money on the streets of Madrid. They can often hold their poses for over an hour. To learn more about living statues click here. Feel free to click the photographs to enlarge.
1. Look at their faces, and try to imagine what they are thinking.
2. I wonder how long it takes to clean up the paint.
3. Just don’t blink.
4. Statue tennis!

5. This nice performer let me take photographs of him even though we has taking a break.
6. The soda kept on coming out of the can, and the cup didn’t overflow. Pretty neat.
7. Which man would you rather be?
Love these pictures! You did a great job taking portraits of the performers in a dynamic way. I love the enthusiasm these performers had. It’s amazing how much dedication they have!

Wonderful WONDERFUL Blog you have here!! I was just speaking to some people I met in Spain telling them I wish I took more pictures and was able to capture every bit of my experience here. It’s tough when it seems like so much is going on. But you capture everything beautifully and this is a great blog for (young) travelers!! Good luck and take care!! Perhaps we will cross paths one day soon…

These are some great pictures! When I was in Madrid, there was one (of the many) in Puerta del Sol that hid in a box/table and would jump out at me. Are you studying abroad in Spain?
